RENTAL PLACE AND CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING SCHOOL
Do you need some sports equipment? You are in the right place! Its excellent position lets you start your cross-country skiing on the perfectly groomed run practically from the doorstep in the winter or saddle up and pedal the cycling tracks in the summer. The Morotto rental place rents, of course, skis, sleighs and snowshoes but it also offers edge sharpening and bottom waxing service. In the summer, in addition to mountain bikes, you can also rent the equipment you need to safely climb via ferratas.
A REMARKABLE HISTORY
It was the year 1956... Cortina was experiencing the magnificence of the Olympics.
Probably due to this effervescent atmosphere which had been aroused in town, the enterprising craftsman Giovanni Gaspari, surnamed “Morotto” had the idea to open a workshop where skis and especially cross-country skiing ones were produced. After a very few time, the sale successes led to the enlargement of his workshop, which became a ski factory named MOROTTO. It had the satisfaction to see for forty years athletes and champions of all nationalities who were using its equipment, triumphing in the races. Today, Morotto, adapting to the new changing times and fashions in the industry, has decided to concentrate its interests on the sales activity through the store, which has now become a “must-see” for Cortina’s visitors.
